"My wife and I began saving money for 'something special' 16 years

ago.  As our family changed and grew, we decided to use the money we

had saved to build our dream home.  We knew John and Carrie Nail on a

personal level and had always heard that the homes they built were

well constructed, quality homes.  There was never a question about who

we wanted to build our home.  John and Carrie are hard working, honest

individuals.

We spent hours choosing a floor plan.  John even went with us to the

architect's appointment to make sure he understood the areas that were

important to us. When it came time to start choosing tile and carpet,

my wife found tile at a supplier not on their recommended list.  After

the tile store had given us their bid, John measured the entire house

to make sure we were buying the correct amount of tile and grout.  

John discovered the tile store was trying to overcharge us and

protected us from this cost.  After that, we only used the suppliers

they recommended.

He saved us money whenever and wherever he could.  John and Carrie

were there to help us every step of the way.  They allowed us to ask

them endless questions.  Carrie came every time we met someone at the

house to make sure the job was done correctly.  She gave us valuable

advice and would follow up on any questions we had.  After we had

chosen the brick, John asked us to pick out the stone we wanted.  The

only stone we found, that we both liked, was the same stone John had

used on the front of the addition.  We asked him about the possibility

of using this stone. John stood very quietly for a few moments and

said that this stone was from Calumet.  He had found the stone on a

farmer's land years ago.

He called and got the farmer's permission to take a crew out to gather

enough stone to finish our home. John worked right alongside the crew

over Labor Day weekend.  Most people would have told us no, but John

said I will.

Everyone tells you that building a home will be stressful.  However,

our family looks back and views those months as an exciting time

filled with good memories.  We know that our experience would have

been different if John and Carrie Nail hadn't built our beautiful

home.  We would highly recommend them to build your dream home too."
